Public offer

1. General terms

This document is a public offer under Article 437(2) of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. The Seller is Dmitrii Aleksandrovich Sevriukov, an individual taxed in the Russian Federation under the professional-income regime, working from Moscow. There is no company behind ChessNavio and no reseller in your country. The Customer is a legally capable individual who buys access for personal use.

The agreement is formed when you have read these terms, accepted them explicitly before payment and paid successfully. Creating a free account is not a purchase. Installing ChessNavio, the Free allowance and reviewing a finished game from a PGN all work without paying.

2. Subject

The Seller grants you time-limited access to the paid Pro features of the ChessNavio software service for your own personal use. You are not buying a copy you can resell, sublicense or redistribute.

ChessNavio helps you analyse chess positions, shows variations for the strength you chose and can keep the game history you decide to keep. While you are playing, the position is analysed on your own computer. The current features and limits are published on the Features and FAQ pages.

3. Price, period and payment

Pro costs $1.99 USD for 7 calendar days or $4.99 USD for 30 calendar days. Each purchase is one-time: it does not renew by itself. These dollar prices are fixed and do not follow the ruble exchange rate. The Seller is not registered for VAT, so no EU or UK VAT number can be quoted. The total you are charged is shown before you pay and is not increased afterwards.

Payment is processed by Robokassa on its secure page. ChessNavio never receives a full card number, an expiry date or a CVC/CVV. A Russian tax receipt for the professional-income regime may be issued where Russian law requires it.

Your bank may still convert the US-dollar charge into the currency of your card. Some issuing countries are not accepted by Robokassa. Recurring charges with foreign cards are not offered.

4. When access starts

Pro access is switched on automatically once Robokassa confirms a successful payment — normally within a few minutes and no later than 24 hours. The period starts when Pro is switched on in the account. If access does not appear within that time, you can ask for it to be enabled or ask for your money back.

Access runs continuously for the paid period. Short interruptions for updates, security or repairs do not end the agreement; if an interruption is significant, the Seller extends your access or refunds a proportionate part of it.

5. What we ask of you

Give a working email address, keep your sign-in details to yourself, do not pass the account to anyone else and do not interfere with the service. Before you use live hints, check the current fair-play rules of the chess site you play on: ChessNavio is not affiliated with any chess site and cannot tell you what that site allows in a given mode.

6. What we owe you

The Seller provides the access you paid for, keeps the service reasonably available, protects your data and answers your requests. Access may be restricted temporarily to stop an attack, to stop limits being circumvented or to prevent harm to other users; you get a clear reason and a way to appeal.

ChessNavio does not promise a win, a particular rating or that every recommendation is free of error. Nothing here limits liability in a case where the law that applies to you does not allow it to be limited.

If paid access is late, missing or defective, write to support@chessnavio.ru. The usual outcomes are a fix, extra days of access or a refund, and how a refund is worked out is set out on the cancellation and refunds page.

7. Taxes

The Seller is a self-employed individual taxed in the Russian Federation under the regime for professional income. The Seller is not a company and is not registered for VAT in the European Union or the United Kingdom.

If a tax, duty or payment fee applies, the total you are actually charged is shown before you pay, and nothing is added afterwards. Whether you owe anything else where you live depends on your own local rules; ChessNavio cannot advise you on them.

8. Personal data

Data is processed in line with the personal data policy. Positions and hints during a game are not sent to a ChessNavio server. A finished game is stored in your account only after you turn history on yourself.

9. Cancellation, refunds and complaints

You can cancel paid access at any time. How a refund is calculated and how long it takes is published on the cancellation and refunds page. Requests go to support@chessnavio.ru from the address linked to your account. Writing to support first is the fastest route, but it is never a condition of using a right you have by law: you can still go to a court or an authority that is open to you.

10. Governing law and your local rights

The Seller is based in the Russian Federation, and the law of the Russian Federation governs this agreement.

That choice does not take away the consumer rights you have under the mandatory law of the country where you live. If your local law gives you a right that this page does not — a statutory withdrawal period, a longer guarantee, a particular remedy for a faulty digital service — you keep it, and where these terms and that mandatory right disagree, your right wins.

Russian consumer legislation is not a substitute for the consumer law of your own country, and this page does not present it as one. If something cannot be settled by email, either side may take it to a court or an authority that has jurisdiction under the law that applies to you.

11. Changes to these terms

This offer is in force from the moment it is published at https://chessnavio.com/legal/offer. A new revision applies to purchases made after it is published. The terms of a period that has already been paid for are never made worse retroactively.
