Terms of use
Short rules for the free and paid parts of ChessNavio.
Revision 3 of 10 September 2026 · version 2026-08-20.11. Your account
Use a working email address, keep your password to yourself and do not pass your account to anyone else. Tell support if you notice access you did not authorise. One person should not create extra accounts to get around the Free limits.
2. Acceptable use
ChessNavio is for your own analysis, learning, practice, games against a computer and your own games on the sites it technically supports. The fact that a site can be connected does not mean that site allows outside hints in a particular mode. Do not attack the service, extract other people’s data, work around access limits, distribute modified copies or present the service as your own.
3. Chess site rules
Fair-play rules differ from site to site and can change. Before you connect a site for the first time, ChessNavio shows a short warning and a link to its rules. You check the current version of those rules and take the decision, and the risk, yourself. ChessNavio is not a partner of any chess site and does not claim that any site approves of hints.
4. Analysis results
A chess evaluation depends on the position, the time spent searching and the strength you chose. A hint does not guarantee a win, a higher rating or agreement with another engine. You decide whether a recommendation fits what you are trying to do.
5. Restricting and restoring access
Access may be restricted temporarily in the case of a confirmed attack, a compromised account, limits being circumvented or a serious breach of these terms. You get a clear reason and can contact support. Paid access is not ended without a refund or another lawful basis.
6. Paid access
What Pro includes, when a period starts and how payment works are set out in the public offer. You pay on the secure Robokassa page, not by entering a card on this site. Cancellation is described separately on the cancellation and refunds page.
