Data processing when you register
The wording of the consent you accept as a separate action when you create an account.
Revision 3 of 10 September 2026 · version 2026-08-20.1Who the consent is given to
Data controller: Dmitrii Aleksandrovich Sevriukov, an individual, tax ID (INN) 771542159597, Moscow, Russian Federation. Contact: support@chessnavio.ru.
Where your data is kept
ChessNavio accounts are stored on servers in the Russian Federation, and so are the backups. If you are outside Russia — for example in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom — accepting this consent and creating an account means your data is sent to Russia and kept there. Russia is not covered by a European Commission adequacy decision, so please decide with that in mind.
What the consent covers
You agree that ChessNavio may collect, store, use, correct, pass to the providers that help run the service, and delete: your email address, your sign-in and security data, information about the devices you connect, your settings, the game history you chose to keep and your support requests. Each provider gets only what it needs for its own task.
The purposes are to create and protect your account, to provide the features of ChessNavio, to synchronise the data you chose to keep, to answer your requests and to meet contractual and statutory obligations. The conditions, retention periods and recipients are set out in detail in the personal data policy.
How long it lasts and how to withdraw it
The consent lasts until the purposes of processing are met or until you withdraw it. You can withdraw it at any time by writing to the support address, and you do not have to say why. After a withdrawal your account and the features that depend on the processing may be closed; data that has to be kept by law is retained until that period ends. Withdrawing does not make the processing that already happened unlawful.
